Resident Evil 4 remake trailer drops, promising heart-pounding action, mind-bending puzzles and seriously creepy cultists

Get ready for a horrifying adventure this March because Capcom just announced new details about the upcoming release of Resident Evil 4 during PlayStation’s State of Play digital event.

Players will once again follow Leon S. Kennedy and Ashley Graham through multiple environments in their attempt to escape from a village controlled by the cult of Los Iluminados.

But that’s not all. In this new release, players will face even more infected villagers, cultists, and enemies empowered by the Las Plagas parasite, all while deciphering esoteric puzzles and unlocking tantalizing secrets. And if that’s not enough, players can also look forward to a thrilling exchange between Leon and Major Jack Krauser.

According to the press release, Resident Evil 4 preserves the essence of the original while using Capcom’s RE Engine to deliver modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics.

The latest trailer is stunning and this remake is going to be absolutely killer – pun always intended. It’s really shaping up to be a great year for gamers.

For those who can’t wait to get their hands on the game, a demo will be available soon. But that’s not all. The Mercenaries challenge mode will also be returning as free post-launch DLC, giving players even more reasons to scream in terror.

Capcom is also offering a Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 4, which includes extra in-game content such as costumes, weapons, and a treasure map. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will also grant players special rewards like the Attaché Case: Gold and Special Charm: Handgun Ammo, while pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition comes with even more goodies.
